Komodo Travellers was created by Bima Laksana as a focused travel publication about one of Indonesia’s most remarkable regions: the islands, wildlife and journeys of Komodo.
What This Site Is
Komodo Travellers publishes wildlife guides, island guides and practical trip-planning content centered on Komodo National Park and Labuan Bajo. The goal is to make a genuinely confusing topic — the difference between the dragon, the island, the park and the wider travel region — easier to understand, while giving travelers realistic, honestly framed planning information.
The Dragon, the Island and the Park
One of the most common points of confusion in searches about “Komodo” is that the word refers to at least three distinct things: an animal, an island, and a national park that contains that island along with several others. This site is organized to make that distinction clear from the homepage onward, rather than blending the three into a single vague topic.
Our Approach to Practical Information
Fees, schedules, access rules and operating conditions in and around Komodo National Park change over time, and this site does not treat them as fixed. Where practical details are mentioned, we note that they should be confirmed with the relevant official provider or tour operator before travel, rather than presenting a single number or rule as permanently accurate.
